OC - Jim Caldwell - 48 Overall - Very good Developer, Performance is 4/5, Ambition, QB Readiness, Improved QB Reads, Game Film Analysis

Pretty good hiring period. Need a new QBC. Caldwell is awesome and I have very good positional coaches, as well as the best/2nd best GM in the game.

Offseason! (Draft in next update)

38.20 Cap, 3.58 Penalties, 4.0 Potential Incentives. Money to spend. Going After a Linebacker in FA.

Released WR Josh Reed.
Franchised CB Quincey Farr. Either going to trade or work out a LTD.
Looking at An Idaho MLB (Thomas)
Looking at Louisville LG (Haynseworth(?))
Signed Briggs to a 5 Year, 51 Million dollar Deal. My front 7 won't be letting anyone by if I get The Idaho MLB. Sitting at 20.25 Million, will be about 30 if I rid of Farr. Also looking to get Fordham with my #20.

Draft Time!

2 questions-Was Tom Rathman not available at RBC, and was OLC Tim Cobble not available to be hired?

Yes to both. I was looking for both but neither came up, so I took the save and signed those two guys.

You can check the news section of the game to see what coaches have been released by each team prior to the Wild Card Games/Owner decision to fire/keep you. If you save before that point, the list of coaches released by the teams will change every time you re-load from that point.

Didn't know that. I'm happy with my staff though.

Re: The Coaching Career of Ron Zeiglermuffin (NFL Head Coach 09)

The NFL Draft is upon us!
1st Pick (OAK) - QB Mike Zazzali
2nd Pick (CHI) - LT Marquay Traylor
3rd Pick (BAL) - To The Bills for 20th Overall Pick, 1st rounder in 2010, and Athya Rubin
3rd Pick (BUF) - CB Demario Waddel

That rounds out the top three. My picks below:
Got the 21st Pick from the Cardinals for the 52nd, 2nd and 3rd in 2010.

21st Pick - Selected MLB Gino King out of West Virginia (Ray Lewis, 90 POT)

Traded 84th for 99th, 211th, and 2010 next year from New Orleans

99th Pick - Selected SS Josh Flowers (Portland St., Sharper)

116th - Selected MLB Donald Wilson (VMI, None, 85 POT)

148th - Selected LOLB Justin Nash (N. Colorado, Suggs)

149th - To the Jets for 190th, 7th in 2010

158th - To Dolphins for 6th and 7th in 2010

171st - To Jets for 195th, 222nd

180th - To Cowboys for 210th, 7th in 2010

185th - Selected WR Colin Sampkins (Wash, Terry Glenn)

190th - To Pats for 2 7th rounder in 2010

195th - Selected C Grant Jones (Wisconsin, Birk)

210th - To Redskins for 224th, 7th in 2010

211th - Selected HB Durrand Spurlock (Yale, J. Lewis)

212th - Selected CB Tristan Mays (LA Tech, 94 Speed)

222nd - Selected LT Sidney Simpson (Marshall, BPA)

224th - Selected WR Brock Boyd (Toledo, triple 90)

UDFAs

CB R. Fields (Press ++)
TE E. Woods (Needed TE)
ROLB J. Carr (LB Depth, probably won't make the cut)

A really good draft at the top, and I am loaded for next year. I'll probably have the Mid Insider, so many sleepers re going to be chosen. I think we have a team here that can make a solid run at the SB. Interview next!
