2009 Season-Game 9- Ravens 16, Bears 13 (OT)

Things had been going so well, but we just couldn't score on the Ravens defense. I tried everything I could think of, but my offense simply couldn't move the ball against them.We did manage to send the game into overtime, but the Ravens kicker booted a 50 yd FG to win it. The Packers did lose this week, so we maintain a 1 game lead in the division.

Injuries-CB Wally Chandler-Triceps Strain-2 Weeks.

2009 Season-Game 10-Bears 27, Cardinals 24

I almost lost this one as well. I was down 24-20 with 1:51 to go when Woodson hit Combs for a 80 yd TD. Arizona did a good job of neutralizing my offense with a couple of exceptions-one included a QB Sneak from the 2 on a 4th and Goal. That, combined with a missed Arizona FG, helped lead Woodson to his 2nd comeback win of the season.

2009 Season-Game 11-Bears 33, Packers 7

I think the Packers really missed Ryan Grant. They let him enter FA, and A. J. Bishop didn't work out. Also, they need a better QB than Harrington. Their offensive line is pretty good though. One weakness-their secondary. I had no trouble putting up good passing numbers against them. I now take a 2 game lead over the Packers into the Steelers game.

I read it all in one day, Woodson is big for you. I remember his college days, I saw him play and met him after his victory over LSU his last year at UK. Good guy. only if he played like this now.

It's the Michigan Spread system more than Woodson. I like him, but I won't be averse to getting another QB. He's got a really slow release that lead to a lot of sacks and turnovers. That can be a problem in the playoffs if you run into a team with a good pass rush like Philadelphia or New York.

2009 Season-Game 12- Bears 31, Steelers 14

It seems to be a down year for the Steelers, only 3 wins in 12 games. We did what we had to do to beat them-we stopped the run on 1st down, and my receivers held onto the ball when they got it. Still, their defense caused a lot of turnovers. Andre Woodson won Player of the Week with 400 yards passing.

Coach upgrades-HC-Physical Development K and P 2, OC-Int Dev OL3.

Injuries-Zack Bowman-ankle sprain- 2 weeks.

Team Notes-My HC now has all the level 2 developmental skills. I'll work on level 3 the rest of this year and next year.
