With the season over Cam Jackson jumped right into recruiting. It was nice not having to worry about his job, he knew he had a job for next season. Something happened though to make him wonder if he would be coming back to Syracuse for a 3rd season.

Late in the winter Cam received a call from Miami Universitys Athletic Director. He said they were impressed in what he had done at Syracuse and wanted him to come be the new offensive coordinator there. Cam stated that he was thankful for the offer, but he would have to say no. He was happy at Syracuse and would like to stay there for now. Before spring practice was here he received 2 more calls from schools for the same position, UNLV and Vanderbilt. He turned both of them down for the same reasons as before.

Then he got his biggest shock. Cam had received a call from Wyoming University saying they would like to interview him for their head coaching position. Cam couldn't believe his luck, after just 2 years of coaching he was interviewing for a head coaching job. Although he did fly out and interview for the job in the end they decided to go with someone else. That was alright with Cam because he was happy at Syracuse.

Breaking News

The NCAA has decided to change up the bowl system starting this season. There will no longer be any BCS tie ins for any conference. All BCS bowl games will be at large bids. That means any team from any conference can have a shot at the National Championship. Reaction around the country has been very positive so far from coaches and players alike. We will have to wait and see how this turns out.
