The Bills have traded TE Tony Gonzalez to the Redskins for the 18th and
185th overall picks in the draft. This comes as no surprise as the Bills only picked him up to aquire more picks. They have also traded DT Pat Williams to the 49ers for the 33rd pick in the draft and a 7th round pick next year.

After the Bills saw both of the Andrews brothers become All-Pro offensive guards last year, after they were both aquired in the off-season, the Bills have gone out and done it again. They have signed FS Dawan Landry to a 4 year deal worth $27 million dollars. They have also traded for his younger brother, SS Laron Landry. They will be giving the Redskins a 2009 3rd round pick and a 2010 1st round pick for Laron's services. Laron was the 6th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, and has performed very well. Dawan was a 5th round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft by the Ravens, but has also performed very well. Both the Landry brothers decided they wanted to come to Buffalo after the Super Bowl run. They wanted to play under coach Kirk Plum, and they wanted to play together. That was their plan before the off-season, and it worked out perfectly. The picture below is of the Landry brothers when they arrived at the Bills headquarters for the 1st time. Laron is on the left, Dawan is on the right. FS/SS Donte Whitner will move to CB, so that the Landry brothers will be able to play side by side, because they have a good feel of what the other is thinking, and they play well together.

Re: Believing In Buffalo-An NFL Head Coach 09 Dynasty

Ya, I was just going to post those.

OC- Turk Schonert has been fired as offensive coordinator. Even though the Bills' offense was the best in football, coach Kirk Plum called all of the plays. Coach Kirk Plum likes continuity on his staff, and since Turk is 55 years old, he won't be around for too much longer. Owner Bob Baines and coach Kirk Plum have both agreed to promote WR Coach Tyke Tolbert to the newly vacant offensive coordinator position. Tyke Tlbert was seen as one of the best WRC in football (94 ovr), so since Kirk Plum handles the run game with Erics Studesville, Tyke can focus on the pass to make it that much better.

DC- Coach Perry Fewell has been retained at this position. He called all of the defensive plays and the defense finished 10th in the NFL. He works good with defensive backs, so the adding of the Landrys will definitely be a big difference maker.

STC- The Bills have retained Bobby April at STC. He is one of the best STC in football (99 ovr). The kick game failed the Bills a little this year, but that might have been mostly rookie Alexis Serna. It should be better this year.

QBC- The Bills have retained QBC Alex Van Pelt. He helped Philip Rivers evolve into one of the best QBs in the NFL.

RBC- The Bills have retained RBC Eric Studesville. This is a no-brainer as the Bills set a rushing record last year with Marshawn Lynch.

WRC- The Bills have hired Larry Kirksey as the new WRC to replace newly promoted Tke Tolbert. Larry is good at developing young receivers and tight ends.

OLC- The Bills have retained OLC Sean Kugler. The Bills had their whole offensive line, besides center, make the Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams.
"There's absolutely no question that he's the best football coach I've ever been around."— Boise State head coach Chris Petersen on Kugler

LBC- The Bills have retained LBC Matt Sheldon. They really like his youth and his job that he did last year, esp. with 2 rookies starting for most of the year.

DBC-The Bills have fired George Catavolos and have hired Jerrold Smith. The age factor was the deciding factor for George. Jerrold Smith was the only one available.

DLC- The Bills have fired Bill Kolar and have hired Jethro Franklin. The age factor was the deciding part again. Jethro is a young up and comer. This seems like a good move.

GM-They have retained GM Noah Body. He did a good job this past year, and while he doesn't have a high ceiling, he is a good GM.

Trainer- They have fired liability Chris Johnson and have hired Robert Wyman. Wyamn is arguably the best in football, but he expects to win.
