2009 Zazzali Draft-Round 1

I traded up from 1-19 to get Beck. I was a bit surprised Bulluck fell to the bottom of the 1st round, also that Jacob Flynn went in the 1st round. My trade first, then a chart of the 1st round.

Trade:

Texans trade 1-19, QB Andre Woodson, and P Ryan Plackemeier to the Cardinals for the 1-14 pick.

Re: The Coaching Career of Michael Smith

2009 Season-Game 1-Texans 45, 49ers 13

The 49ers had no trouble moving the ball, but they didn't do so well at coming away with points. 4 INTs will do that to you; also, next time they should try and run more than 3 times. A good win to open the season, but a couple serious injuries dampened it a bit.

CU-DC-Int Dev DB2, LBC-Team Chem 3, DLC-Int Dev DL 3, GM-Mid Major School Insider.

Inj-LG Rondell Owens-pectoral strain-4 weeks. Potential dropped to 91.

Inj-WR Andre Johnson-broken thumb-1 week.

DPOW-MLB Vince Brownlee-6 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT

NFL note-Giants WR Amani Toomer-10, 000 rec. yds.
