FAU Announces new Offensive Coordinator
Boca Raton, Florida - FAU announced today the hiring of 30 year old Douglas Knight as new Offensive Coordinator today after a three month search.
Douglas Knight graduated from West Point Military Academy in 2005, where he played Fullback for the Black Knights for three years, being named All-Independent in 2004.
After his graduating Douglas Knight went into active duty for the United States Army serving as an Armor Officer. He served for seven years, including tours in: Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran.
Douglas Knight was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 2012.
Douglas Knight could not be reached for comment on his hiring, but his family stated that Mr. Knight is very excited to begin this new path in his life.
Early reports say that this is a Two year deal, though those reports have not been confirmed
