Re: A Bears Dynasty

2009 Season-Game 1-Bears 65, Vikings 7

Ok, I hoped I had put off the 60 points wins with my new Performance/special skills house rules, but that appears to not be the case. Not a lot to say about the Vikings game, but the injury to Harris looks a little serious. Just a bruised elbow, but he is now at 89/90.

INJ-DT Tommy Harris-bruised elbow-5 days. Right arm now at 82% health.

OPOW-QB Josh Johnson-25-38-408, 5 pass TDs, 5-34 rush.

DPOW-CB Nathan Vasher-1 tackle, 3 INTs, 1 INT TD.

Re: A Bears Dynasty

2009 Season-Game 2-Bears 62, Cardinals 7

Another strong win-although Johnson's 4 INTs were a problem. that and the triceps injury to Joseph Addai were the two things that marred this game. He'll miss three weeks at best, at worst maybe a little more.

As a result, I traded for HB Ray Rice after the game, giving up a 2010 4th and 2010 5th. Addai is now 90/91-having lost 3 potential points since the start, and I'll have to take the durability issues into account when I consider a LTC.

CU-HC-Int Dev OL 3, OC-Lrn Dev QB 3

Injury-HB Joseph Addai-triceps strain-3 weeks.

Trade-Broncos trade HB Ray Rice to Bears for 2010 4th and 2010 5th.

DPOW-LE Calais Campbell-8 tackles, 4 sacks, forced fumble.

Re: A Bears Dynasty

2009 Season-Game 3-Bears 30, Packers 13

Ok-finished with a couple of days on the road-time for a update. Defense was very good for both teams-but we managed to take advantage of a few mistakes and win it in the 4th quarter.

Still, the win didn't come without a price-ROLB Lance Briggs tore both his ACL and PCL and will miss 4 months-hence go on IR and miss the whole year. As a result, I signed LOLB Jordan Dizon and moved him to ROLB.

CU-HC-Int Dev P 3, RBC-Game Film Analysis.

INJ-ROLB Lance Briggs-torn ACL and PCL-4 months.

DPOW-SS Kenny Phillips-7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT TD.

Bears note-Bears cut their punter and sign back P Dexter McDaniel. No progression in 3 games will do that for you.
