        2008 Draft-Round 1

I've played this game long enough to not get surprised by much,
but the Cowboys taking Donnie Avery at 1-28 was a surprise. Draft chart first, then the trades. I missed some hts and weight for a few players.

Not all of these are my players-I'm not that good. Draft table will have have both college and team for others team draftees, mine will have only college. Undrafted players will be below that, and then my trades.

Will forgo the depth chart, I will let you know Bake is starting at RE and I picked up Kelin Johnson as backup safety.

The game-Briggs got things off to a good start with fumble recovery at start of game leading to TD, but the turnovers really hurt us-especially that last one returned by B. Sanders for TD.

                OPOW-HB Brian Westbrook-23-69 rush yds-2 rush TDs.
                10-111 rec yds-1 rec td

                DPOW-MLB Patrick Willis-9 tackles, 2 iNTs.

Approval dropped to 37 after two unsuccessful Defining Moments.

DT Tommy Harris announced after the game he will not be re-signing with the Chicago Bears. It will make it more imperative to re-sign Briggs so we can franchise Harris.

                    2008 Season-Game 3-Bears 30, Bucs 17

The Bucs had plenty of opportunities forcing Josh Johnson into throwing 4 INTs, but they weren't able to make the most of those opportunities as the Bears won their second straight.

                      2008 Season-Game 4-Bears 48, Eagles 6

The Eagles shut down our passing game pretty well, but e found other ways to score. Briggs contined having an excellent game as he won another player of the Weeek Award, and Coach Smith saw his approval rise to 93 after 3 wins against good teams.

                        2008 Season-Game 5-Bears 23, Lions 0

The Bears continued their winning ways with a 23-0 whitewash of the Lions. Not a lot of scoring by either side, but Johnson's two QB pass TDs was enough to win this game.

We've got a NFL Head Coach Series sub on Reddit if you play these games anymore, here's a link to our community.

                          https://www.reddit.com/r/NFLHeadCoac...m_source=share
NFL Head Coach 09 had a "Play Steal" feature.

CPU teams stole your successful plays in your playbook and added them to their playbooks. That feature met with college playbooks from incoming college coaches and user created plays birthed a new meta evolution for playcallers across the NFL.
