TCU's Matt Purke is not gonna be playing for atleast 2 weeks. He hasnt been as dominating this year starting with the blister on his throwing hand at the start of the year and now he has had some soreness in his shoulder that they havent been able to figure out what it is.

Purke was drafted number 1 over all by the Ranger right out of high school and he was offered up to 4 million but never could come to terms so he went to TCU where he was lights out last season. He will now travel to meet with Dr. James Anrews the famous orthopedic sergeon to try and see what is up with his shoulder. Hopefully it is something that isnt serious.

this is a month old post dude lol. I dunno if he is or not. TCU shut him down but the doc found nothing serious wrong so they were saving him for post season. He pitched 3 innings on Thursday to get a little work to see how he felt. He walked 1 hit 1 batter gave up 1 hit and struck out 4 and threw 42 pitches and also had 1 wild pitch
