Texas Tech has a 3 game series at TCU, then 2 at home against Alabama A&M.

The UT-Arlington Mavericks as stated above will host the Texas State Bobcats this weekend, opening conference play. They will also host Baylor on Tuesday night, so a fun week ahead for Maverick Baseball.

UTSA(8-4) opens up Southland conference play at Texas A&M CC with a three game series.

Texas vs Loyola Marymount has been postponed due to inclement weather and will play tomorrow (saturday) night and try a double header sunday

UT-Arlington held tight against Texas State last night, but a two run ninth for the Bobcats put them over the Mavericks 5-3. I was going to go to the game today, but the floodgates have opened up and it looks like it's either going to be hairy conditions, or they are going to delay the game until tomorrow.

Yesterday was actually a decent day for baseball; overcast skies but still cool enough and nice enough to play in. If the rain continues like this, Texas Christian vs. Texas Tech might have to play it all on Sunday. This is why teams shouldn't cancel games days in advance.

EDIT: Doubleheader for UT-Arlington tomorrow at Clay Gould Field. Texas Christian vs. Texas Tech will be postponed until Monday with free admission.

Texas and Loyola Marymount is rained out again tonight. They will play a double header tomorrow. So atleast we hope to get 2 of what was supposed to be a 3 game series played
