Congrats to Zona. Coming up empty in the 8th leaving a man on 3rd hurt big time. Gotta protect the plate if it's close.

Thought it would take at least 4 runs to have a chance tonight. Sometimes I hate being right. Great season though using a lot of freshmen. 2 out of 3 ain't shabby.

Someone in the MLB should take note of these 130 pitch counts all the Arizona pitchers have...seems to work out for them...not that Farris got anywhere near 130 tonight.

Since I live in Tucson, I'm slightly above ambivalent to Arizona, but lots of happy people around me, so good for them anyway.

'GRATS to the Arizona Wildcats baseball program.

They dominated the CWS & deserve the championship.

I'll be tailgating in the same lot (D) all throughout next year's College World Series. So, if your school makes it & you're in town... and wanna get RUN at some washers - HIT ME UP! I'll also have the charcoal grill out w/ fixings, and of course, plenty of free brews in the cooler.

This was such a great World Series. Sadly South Caroline didn't get #3 in a row but it was such an awesome game. Good luck next year all.. Go Gophers! Ski U Mah

Ditto. Arizona did it for the Pac-12! Good for them.
