Re: Conference Championship Discussion

Went to the Husker-Spartan game today. The crowd was intense and awesome. Nebraska scored late and won 3-2. Now they play Saturday at 9am, and I'll be ready.

Conference Championship Discussion

Took an impromptu trip to the Hoover because my dad was off and never saw Nola pitch. Man, he picked a good one, Nola threw his usual gem. The Met was beautiful as well.

Re: Conference Championship Discussion

Looks like Southern Cal is going to take this one, 4-2 bottom 7 right now. Fry usually pitches Sunday, he pitched Saturday last week, but I don't get why the sudden change this week to move him to Friday. He didn't have it today. Beavs will have to wait till tomorrow to try clinching when Wetzler goes.

Re: Conference Championship Discussion

Nevermind, I wake up to see Washington lost to UCLA, so the Beavs clinched last night after all. Still don't like the timing of changing up the rotation. Wetzler could have gone last night after pitching Sunday and everything could be right back on track.

Re: Conference Championship Discussion

Yeah, UW had nothing going last night at got down early. Hopefully we bounce back in the last two.

Re: Conference Championship Discussion

Nebraska was stellar today in a 6-1 victory over Michigan. They left a lot of men on, but I can't complain too much. Kyle Kubat was dealing, 8.2 innings and the only run coming in the ninth.

Now we play the winner of Michigan State and Indiana tomorrow in the B1G Championship Game. Unfortunately I have to work and will miss it.

Re: Conference Championship Discussion

LSU run ruled (!!!!) Arkansas 11-1 to advance to face Florida for the SEC Championship tomorrow. 2nd time they've run ruled an opponent in Hoover.

I want two in a row.
