    Memphis a weak #1 seed?

Memphis has been the most impressive team in the tournament thus far IMHO. They blew ORU and Bucknell out in the 2nd half. Can this be said about the other #1 seeds?

The fan poll on Foxsports has Memphis as the #1 team in the nation. I dont know about that but I love to watch them play. Go Tigers GO!

To win the BIG DANCE you have to be both good and lucky.

I thought Duke looked impressive against a very good GW team.

Read what you typed again...."Memphis has been the most impressive team in the tournament....They blew out ORU and Bucknell"

When does blowing out ORU and Bucknell earn the title of most impressive wins in the tournament?

They have taken care of business so far, as they should have. They beat two teams they were suppossed to. If anything, it could be said they have had the easiest draw in the tournament. Bucknell was the worst of the 8/9 game winners and they get Bradley next? They are winning(and winning impressively, but not MOST impressively), so you can't say anything bad about them, but they have been far from the most impressive. They should have another easy game next round and should handle UCLA or Gonzaga. They are doing what they are suppossed to, there is a difference between that and being impressive.

Your telling me you can judge how impressive a team is in the tournament of off two wins against Bucknell and ORU?

And compare their tournament wins to GMU who upset two of last year's Final Four teams, Michigan State and UNC, or Wichtia St, who blew out a quality Big East team (Seton Hall), and the #2 seed, Tennessee.

Im dead tired after a 24 hour car drive from Florida back to Wisconsin...

But please tell me you are kidding when you say that Seton Hall is a quality Big East team, and that you think Tennessee deserved a #2. I think if you happen to find a video of the Vols' during selection sunday...

I believe Bruce Pearl jokingly said "Here is our spot" and then when they DID get announced as the number 2 amidst the cheering, he sat silently on the couch and mouthed "holy sh*t".

There have been 5 games in which the winner won by 20 or more points.

Florida has two of those games. I'd say they have far and away been the most impressive team in the tournament.

George Mason or Bradley since they have each beaten two good teams.

I'm thankful Oklahoma lost in the round of 64, because I'm almost we would have never beaten them by over 20.

And our road is even less bumpy now that Georgetown beat Ohio State (we'll still probably struggle with G'Town, just not as much as we may have with OSU.)

Florida has so far had some of the easiest draws of any tournament team. I hope this keeps up.

Personally, I think your road is tougher against Georgetown. That's a talented team and will be a very tough out.

Yeah, either way it was going to be tough. I think we may match up better against Georgetown than we do Ohio State.

You'll have to excuse my boy Redbird. Since Memphis was drug through the mud all last week, you can understand his post. Heck Forde, Bilas, and Seth Davis had them losing to Oral Roberts. Digger had them out in the 2nd round. All Memphis fans read the past week was how the Tigers wouldn't get out of Dallas, they didn't deserve the #1 seed, they play in C-USA, blah, blah, blah.

Florida was the most impressive team to me this weekend.

You hit the nail on the head!

Last night ESPN said that the #1 seeds were struggling...

                          Excuse me! Memphis isnt struggling!

Digger picked UCLA to beat Memphis but failed to mention this would be payback since Memphis beat UCLA earlier in the season.

I know that I ribbed O-F-H about UCLA but only an idiot would think that UCLA isnt a great basketball team. I hope to see UCLA put Gonzaga out. Morison really gets on my nerves with his cocky atitude.

I know that Bradley could beat Memphis this weekend but Memphis should have earned some respect for what they have done over the course of the WHOLE season not just their conference!

Florida has been impressive and I dont want to be guilty of what has gotten me disturbed!

In terms of #1 seeds, I agree Memphis has been the most impressive.

Compare their sucess to U-Conn, who trailed by double digits in the second half to a team with its first tournament apperance, and Duke and Vilanova, who played flat against their competition in the first round.

Memphis is the only team that can shut down Reddick and Morrison!! Of course, it took 20 minutes for us to figure out JJ and 30 to figure out Morrison!
