Re: Remembering Will Bynum @ Georgia Tech

Tech's my team and he was the best PG in Tech history at isolating and getting to the cup. He was unreal in the tournament.

Where did he transfer from? Was it Arizona?

Better in Isolations than Kenny Anderson? Heh, I don't know. That's a close call.

Kenny is my favorite player of all time so don't get me wrong. But Bynum could isolate guys. Kenny was the best in open court and with the pick n roll. Bynum could isolate on the wing against ACC opponents and score at will.

Both had wiked handles though.

Re: Remembering Will Bynum @ Georgia Tech

It was a faster paced game back then. Anderson never needed to isolate and drive with as quickly as tech pushed it up the floor (and the weapons they had from the perimeter).

Still, bynum was a nice player (although more of a 2 guard than PG) who had some great games, but anderson is one of the all-time great PGs to play college ball. I wouldnt compare them.

Bynum was on two pretty loaded squads between Arizona and GT.

Good videos all around.

Georgia Tech was fun to watch in 2003-2004. There was some amazing talent on that team. Bynum is not doing bad at all with the Pistons now.
