        It's not all bad.

The Huskies are playing in Portland. UCLA is playing a giant-killer (VCU) and possibly Villanova in Philadelphia. I'd trade spots instantly.

UConn vs. Memphis in the Elite Eight looks inevitable in this region.

With a Memphis return to the Final Four.

Playing in the West historically bodes well for Connecticut though.

They came out of this region in their previous 2 national championships.

What arena are the Portland games in? I'm mildly surprised Portland State is not there, considering the committee had no problem putting Villanova in Philly.

They were in the West last year though and didn't even get to the Regional.

I am excited for a potential Washington/Purdue matchup in the 2nd round. I see UConn winning this bracket though.
