seriously

apparently the refs forgot that we're men in the Big East and we play real basketball. If I have to see one more hand check/weak bump/lame over-the-back call I'm going to turn this off

and that goes both ways. There was about a 7 minute stretch from 10-3 where the refs stopped calling weak fouls and it was so nice to watch. Unfortunately it was short lived

ugh, less than a minute into the 2nd and already two WEAK fouls against Uconn

screw this game. I hate when the refs ruin something I was very much looking forward to.

and as I post this, a weak foul against Pitt (not even sure what the call was). This is ridiculous.

Refs were terrible. Kemba is a man. Pitt is going to be tough to beat at home though.

Tough loss but not a bad loss for the Pups. The one-man show isn't going to beat a team like Pitt on the road. Youth, youth and more youth - difficult introduction to Big East basketball for all these freshman. Oriakhi in foul trouble killed us inside, and will on more than one occasion this year since we're paper thin up front. And our offense, well we need a second scorer to step up at some point this season.
