Still waiting to see if we throw our name into the few elite teams if Drummond decides to come next month."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Who's your top 30?
I also thought I remembered you saying in the past that you know him and that if he goes to college, it won't be anywhere but UCONN? Or am I misinterpreting what I remember...which is very possible?#WeAreUKComment

Re: Who's your top 30?
His prep coach had been adamant that he was coming back for another season, but now doesn't know what Drummond is doing. Sounds like either a different prep school, or college. There's rumors he's going to announce something in the next week.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Who's your top 30?
PP, everything was thrown out the window in the last two weeks. I know Jere Quinn didn't believe Drummond would go to UConn but Calhoun doesn't have a great relationship with Quinn (I don't think he has a good one with anybody) so I don't know how much stock can be put in that.
He already graduated from HS but is still 17 so his choices are:
1. Prep at STM
2. Prep at another prep school
3. Play overseas
4. Take a year off to train
5. Go to a college
I don't think he goes to college because he doesn't want to be trapped by the new CBA which might alter the age limit, he could get stuck in school for 2-3 years potentially.
I think he'll wind up prepping at a school besides STM and then enter the draft next June. It'll really suck of we get jobbed out of our two biggest big-man recruits in school history because of the NBA. First Bynum in '06 and now probably Drummond (granted Bynum was signed to his LOI and Drummond isn't)."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
