Fairly good draw for the Bucks. FSU is a tough out as a potential Sweet 16 matchup though.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati Reds -

Badgers get Montana out of the gate. Not sure how to feel about that.
I know that if they get through that, either Harvard or Vanderbilt (whichever one it is) scares the bejeezus out of me.
Me thinks it's the usual Wisconsin "One and done" this year. Don't see a run in us.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Honestly think you guys and Ohio State are the only two teams that could beat Syracuse IF Cuse gets back into a groove like they were for the first half of the season. If they don't get back into a groove, I think Syracuse might lose to Kansas State honestly.Badgers get Montana out of the gate. Not sure how to feel about that.

I think Syracuse's zone and length would give Ohio State fits if they play.Comment

Me too, but they still have a ton of talent on that team so I'd at least give them a chance. Wisconsin is more of their style of play against us, but if Syracuse hits a groove, there's no reason they shouldn't make the Final Four. But I'm extremely skeptical that we'll actually hit a groove.NFL: Bills

If we make it far enough to face you guys, I'd assume that would mean we ended up finding our groove again, in which case I'd definitely like my chances, but I'll be surprised if it gets to that point honestly.NFL: Bills

No reason Syracuse shouldn't make the Elite Eight. Ohio State is the favorite to meet them there but Florida State and Cincy could prove to be tough tests in the Sweet Sixteen if they meet up.Ohio State Buckeyes Cleveland Cavaliers Cleveland Indians Cleveland Browns Columbus Blue Jackets Real MadridComment

Re: East Region Discussion
Well if your signature is any indication, it wouldn't technically be an upset.
But I don't see it happening. Unless you guys shoot like 50% from 3 point range on 30 attempts or so, I don't think that game will be close. Syracuse has WAY too much length. Hell, their freshman PG is as tall and long as your biggest player.NFL: Bills

Interesting conversation on ESPN right now. Gottlieb saying that Syracuse plays the wrong way, that we should be pressing teams from the opening tip more often.
Honestly, I agree, especially when we get Southerland in there because his length on the inbounders is huge. Our press has actually been great this year when we've used it. We don't really use it nearly enough in my opinion.NFL: Bills

Re: East Region Discussion
I agree. I think start out each half pressing and see where it gets you. If it works stay with it, if not just go back to the zone. Against Cincy they started it too late, but was quite effective. Also, Syracuse has the depth to keep rotating in people if the press is working so no one gets too tired. The potential to use it a lot is there though.Interesting conversation on ESPN right now.
