Syracuse`s second leading scoring James Southerland is out indefinitely. He`s being held out due to an eligibility question. This will be killer to Cuse if he does not come back, they can`t afford to have another Fab Melo situation.

Elston Turner has ruined my day, if you didn't know the transfer from Washington, "and now playing for Texas A&M" put up 40 points today against Kentucky, excuse me while I replay the game in my head, and how it should have went.

Kinda surprised Michigan fell to #5 and Duke to #3 despite Michigan losing by fewer points at a higher ranked team.

Oh well, doesn't matter anyway since basketball has actually figured out how to crown a champion without computers.

What ever happened to Kiwi Gardner? He was ineligible 2011-2012 and this year he isn't even listed for stats on ESPN this year nor Providence's team roster.

Did anyone hear Boeheim's comments on Mike & Mike this morning? I thought it was interesting because he was asked if today's freshmen are better than they were 20 years ago with all the AAU, etc and the talent they face in HS.

Boeheim responded that no, they aren't, but that the sophomore-senior guys are much worse and so the freshmen can come in and do well against lesser competition since everyone is leaving early.

I had assumed freshmen were getting better, and I think they have, but he's got a great point.
