4 returning starters. 6 of the 7 leading scorers are back. A veteran team with mostly jrs & srs. If Reggie Johnson's knee is completely healed & can play like he did his Sophomore year watch out. If it hadn't been for Durand Scott's suspension, Miami probably would have made the tournament. Having Malcolm Grant graduate helps the team out. Grant was a high volume shooter with a low FG%. Last year the Canes showed they can battle with the big boys of the ACC, especially with that big win at Duke.


I'm thinking the round of 32 for Miami & quite possibly a sweet 16 berth.

I cannot wait for this year. UofA has their best team in quite some time with Marshall, Abreu and Brian Walsh. I think it's probably the most talented team Dambrot has ever had, but the question is if Dambrot can manage the team. I think he can, and I think, to most people, Dambrot is a damn fine coach. He's working his dream job and I absolutely love it.

Obviously there are some other extremely talented teams in the MAC this year. Ohio is going to be very, very good again and of course, Can't State is always around.

Should be fun. Hopefully this year ends a lot better than last year did.

Longhorn Network was allowed to broadcast Texas high school football games as of last year... so I don't know if it is a violation.
