Antonio Blakeney's "guardian" got some too. Part of the deal.

And I believe Pitino was aware of what was going on. No way you have top recruits on campus and have no idea of their activities.

Never said it wouldn't be true.

Just said that she didn't think this through when she wrote the book.

I'll stand by the fact that I want to see all the investigations come to light before I get worried, concerned, upset or try to figure out what is true, what isn't, and the like.

I'll leave that up to everyone else.

As for now, there is an ongoing investigation and Pitino is our coach. Those are the facts that are known.

Not necessarily, iirc, the prostitution charge I think had a 1 year statute of limitations. But there was another charge that I forget that had no statute of limitations. So it depends on the charges brought against her. They talked about it on SC this morning/afternoon. I caught pieces of it because I was at work during the time.

If she exploited her underage children for sex, she is going to prison.

In her book she says that her two young daughters, one who was 15 years old participated in the parties. If this is true, that a 15 year participated in sex/stripping at parties, she is going to prison.

I know you are a UL fan through and through and I commend you for that. But this isn't something that is going to later come out to be false. There is too much evidence AND admittance by former players and recruits already.

As a fan doesn't this upset you? I know many times there are scandals that you (not you specifically but people in general) don't feel enough facts or proof is being provided and sometimes those things go away because of such. But this isn't going anywhere. I have yet to hear one national analyst or reporter act like this may not have happened. I haven't even heard Pitino say it didn't happen. I also haven't heard one analyst think that Pitino will remain head coach at UL, regardless if he knew or not.

I hate UL just like UL fans hate UK. But I will be honest, I love our rivalry and don't have hate for Pitino. Sure, my opinion of him has changed over the years and that was before this scandal (even if he didn't know), but he did a lot for UK and had he not bolted for the Celtics he may well still be the coach there. But all in all, this is bad for college basketball. This is going to hurt UL more than some think. Recruiting will take a massive hit over the next couple years or so. Depending on who eventually replaces Pitino (and he will get fired. UL has no choice), they could bounce back relatively quickly. But that largely depends on who he is replaced with.

Anyway, best thing for UL at this point is for this to get the coverage and then move on. Do what they have to do and try to move forward.

What evidence? A book? A receipt of money paid by McGee to this lady?

And admittance by which former players and recruits? I ask this because I want to know who it was. Is it possible that it could be 5 former players/recruits over a 4/5 year span that have a beef with Pitino?

There are also those who said it didn't happen. So was it secretive? Was it invite only?

If true it will upset me. Until proven, I could careless what talking heads or anyone else has to say. Let me hear McGee say its true. Let me hear the findings of the investigation. Until I hear from him or the investigation findings, I couldn't careless about any information being reported.

Well we signed one recruit today. We still have a good class this year. No one has left the program. And Pitino fired? Well, I guess we'll just have to see.

UofL is doing what they have to do, they are investigating the allegations.

Look, I know people want this to be true. And for all I know maybe it is. But again, I'll listen to either McGee or the legal process to tell me that its true. Excuse me for not believing outside fanbases, anonymous player/recruit(s) or talking heads.

Pitino's comments that Andre McGee needs to come out and talk is insinuating he expects McGee to absolve him of any wrong doing. I don't know what level of interaction Pitino has when recruits come to the university but I'm certain he's well aware of the itinerary, especially being he/AD need to ensure no NCAA violations occur.

With the season soon to be starting in 2 weeks, I wonder if they'll place him on leave (or if Pitino will take a leave).
