42 points in a half is insane.

Great win for UofL tonight as they knocked off Notre Dame in South Bend! Double overtime only seemed fitting for these two teams playing in the Joyce Center.

And for the 2nd time this year David Padgett accomplished something Pitino couldn't....he won in South Bend.

Next up is a High Noon Sunday showdown against a fiesty Boston College team.

And with Clemson's loss tonight in Chapel Hill, the Cardinals are in 2nd place in the ACC, with a 4-1 record.

My opinion on Padgett is changing a bit, after that Kentucky massacre I was in "idunno man" land, but it seems he's getting it together

I think he's getting more comfortable in his new position, is getting more comfortable with the players and their roles, and getting more comfortable/confident in his ability to coach at this level.

I personally wish they would strip away the interim tag and make him the permanent head coach. Give him 3-5 years while we sort out the mess we are in and see what happens after that.

I don't know if I would say great win.
ND is reeling having now lost 3 in a row.
Their best player (and one of the best in the country) is out and Farrell just came back and didn't have the explosiveness he usually has is he admitted after the game he is far from 100%.
So saying it was a Great Win is kinda of an over statement, you beat an unranked team without their best player and their 2nd best player was not 100%.

UofL is unranked. Hasn't beaten ND in South Bend since 1994. We are playing with an interim coach.

I'll call it a great win...you can call it what you want; great win, good win, average win, bad win, lucky win, or whatever.

It was a win...and one that was needed and a longtime coming for UofL.

Pretty sure that is what my post said, that I wouldn't call it a great win.
Thanks for the permission to call it not a great win.

Again if you think beating a unranked team that has lost 3 games in a row without their best player, a great win. I feel sorry for your program.
Farrell who is their second best player was playing on one leg and went 8-25 from the field. Great win! lol
