As mentioned above considering that we're losing 5 blockers if you count the tight ends he probably did make the best decision plus there is going to be serious competition at running back. Its going to be an interesting Spring, and Fall training camp!

So what's the deal with Terry Grant?What do you guys think happens to him? He went from 180 carries in his freshman year to just 35 this year with Ingram taking his spot. Even though Coffee is leaving, Richardson is on the way and most definitely compete to be in the rotation. Things change, but his role doesn't look to be significant on this team any longer (depending on Upchurch's recovery of course). I wonder if it's an issue of him not being ideal for the system Saban wants or is he in the doghouse for some reason? Maybe the other guys were just showing more in practice. Any of you have an idea?

Oh yeah, 3* LB Jonathan Atchinson not taking visit to Auburn.

Grant just isn't getting it done is what I've heard. He was surpassed by Coffee, Ingram, and Upchurch on 08.

A fairly decent d-line got a little bit deeper, Kerry Murphy received word from the NCAA clearinghouse and is enrolled. Fullback Jermaine Preyear has also enrolled.
