I suppose I could amend my latest blog post to include the fact that both Evans and Helmuth were at the bottom of the depth chart...lol.

Also, Teric Jones has moved to CB.

18 days to kickoff. I'm pretty optimistic this year and am glad almost all the "experts" are expecting a mediocre year from Michigan. I think we're going to shock some teams.

Re: Hail To The Victors: 2009 Michigan Wolverines

I can`t wait the time is almost here. Once Saturday starts this other crap will be behind us.

How do you guys think the season will go. Here is what I got.

Sep. 5-----Western Michigan----Win
Sep. 12---- Notre Dame--------Win (not buying the Notre Dame hype)
Sep. 19---- Eastern Michigan------Win
Sep. 26---- Indiana------------Win
Oct. 3----- at Michigan State ----Win
Oct. 10-----at Iowa----------Loss
Oct. 17---- Delaware St---------Win
Oct. 24---- Penn State--------Loss
Oct. 31---- at Illinois-------- Loss
Nov. 7----- Purdue----------Win
Nov. 14---- at Wisconsin------Win
Nov. 21---- Ohio State-------Loss

Maybe I`m drinking the Kool-Aid here. But I think we go 8-4. The out of conference schedule is favorable. I don`t think the Big 10 is going to be very strong this year.

I`m excited to see what Forcier and Robinson will bring to the table on Saturday. Also I`m curious to see what the defense will do with a new scheme.

Just switch the Wisconsin game and that's me. I think 7-5 is most likely going to happen, but I do feel the Notre Dame game is a swing game. Im not sold on ND, but Im not 100% confident on our defense stopping an offense with all 11 starters back.

I think the Notre Dame game and @MSU will be tough. Winning both is asking a little too much imo. Not impossible but tough.

It's hard to break down the wins and losses because you always win some you shouldn't and blow games you shouldn't, especially in college football. I think the over/under is 7 wins. I expect 6 wins minimum, 7 would be realistic and 8+ would be very nice.

Re: Hail To The Victors: 2009 Michigan Wolverines

I think this crap can actually have a positive effect and this team comes out as fired up as possible on Saturday. Would not want to be Western if that happens.

I am a little concerned about three different qb's playing possibly disrupting the offense getting in rhythm though but if the rest of the guys around them play well it shouldn't be an issue. I do think this team needs to narrow it down to 2 of the qb's before they play Notre Dame though.

As far as the record goes I would expect 7-8 wins. Looking at their schedule if they only win 6 that means that didn't win enough of the games they were supposed to and ones they were capable of winning. 9 would be a nice surprise but to be realistic I don't see happening.

Well, I'm not sure why any recruit would want to commit to being tortured by the evil DickRod, but 2011 CB Greg Brown from Fremont Ross High School in Ohio has committed to Michigan.
