Pianalto has a dislocated foot. They'll need to check him out once they get back to Chapel Hill for a full timetable.

Based on UNC's history with foot injuries, I'm not optimistic.

Don't know whether I'm reading too much into this, but this_story sounds like there's potential Dyer might be done for the year, maybe his career. That expression, "he has to look at things in his life", scares me.

The only thing I have to contribute to this thread is that...

Butch Davis and I went to the same high school..

That is all, lol.

Officially:

Dyer out 3-4 weeks for rehab, then will be re-evaluated.

Pianalto also out 3-4 weeks.

There's plenty of rumors going around that Dyer will be out for the year though. I hope not, I'm not sure this team can really take any more hits to the o-line.

Re: Butch's Brood - UNC Tar Heel Thread

Good win today to get to 3-0. The offense got in track better than they had in any game so far with Yates really playing well. I really liked what I saw from the WRs today, Highsmith looks like he's going to be a good one and Boyd managed to haul in the long TD.

The defense looked good again. They gave up 2 TDs when the offense put them in bad spots but were solid. ECU never got a lot going on offense.

Good win, now comes a tough game in Atlanta.

Where in the world did Highsmith come from? I would have loved to have created his in my UNC dynasty.

I tell you what. I feel alot better about this team. I'm seeing some improvement, bit by bit. ACC sched starts next week. Let's get it off to a good start.

Re: Butch's Brood - UNC Tar Heel Thread

Good see Felder committed. He looks like a good player. The Heels are loading up on those slot receiver types this season after getting bigger guys last year. You can never have too much speed out there.

I'm really looking forward to the GT game this weekend. It's going to be a tough one but if the Heels can contain their running game they could be in good shape. I know GT will be ready to play coming off an ugly loss.
