Finally get a W tonight vs Purdue. Masoli just doesn't look comfortable in the offense though. James and Barner really bailed him out tonight and helped take pressure off of him. I would really like to see Thomas take some snaps, he looked good last year and kind of reminds me of Dixon.

Another close one today. Defense is playing great, but Masoli looks like he's trying to give away wins. He really needs to stop looking in his receivers. Almost got into some trouble not being able to handle the ball to. All in all, every position on the field is playing well for them except QB.

It's still really early but given the way the season started, Duck fans have to like the direction of the storylines around the program right now. Kelly seems to be settling in, the offense is developing and growing up, and the defense is just flying around like no Duck defense in recent memory.

It's really going to be interesting to see how this team fares in the thick of Pac-10 play. I can't pick a favorite in the UCLA or Washington games at this point.

One final note, I would like to see James protect himself and finish his inside runs a little better. He leaves himself way too open coming through the hole and has taken some huge hits, he's bound to get injured if he keeps it up.
