Seriously though, what was the deal with LSU's spring game turnout? The baseball team wasn't in town so I figured a good crowd would show up.




And Craig James is somewhat right, Alabama(along with tOSU and Nebraska) have set the standard for spring game attendance.

LOL, you're right about Craig James, Watson. I'm looking forward to seeing the development of Russel Shepard and Rueben Randle at wide receiver position.

LSU/UT was televised for starters. Also, it was the day after (most) students left for spring break. And the old farts who don't even make noise and sit down at the game frown upon spring games because it's another excuse for them to prove their dissatisfaction after a 2+ loss season that doesn't bring home a national championship.

But with that, the whole context of a spring game is taken out. It's a scrimmage to end spring practice. I never have been very fond of inter-personnel scrimmages.
