Did not see a team thread so I decided to go ahead and start one. That was a rough first loss to the Aggies, especially because it could have been a close game if we didn't continually shoot ourselves in the foot. If Padron plays like he should (and that onside kick is never attempted) that is a completely different game.

What do you guys think about next week against UTEP? I predict Padron comes back strong and we see a 38-21 Mustang victory.

Shocked to see McDermott in over Padron, but that first drive was really easy.

I can't believe I'm the only SMU fan on these forums (wait, yes I can).

Anyway, good win today. Line was a beast again, and McDermott was decent. Defense really needs to step it up on 3rd down though. Davis played a great game and that fumble recovery TD was clutch.

I'm mixed about that, it would be great only if Boise, UCF, and Houston all go. Otherwise I think they will lose their AQ status.

On a side note, looking dominant against UCF today.
