Re: 2012 Tennessee Vols

Clowney strip sacked Bray in the red zone right when UT was moving the ball and looking like there going in for the go-ahead touchdown. Carolina recovered the fumble and that was pretty much the game.

Appeared you guys were up a score icing the game and turned it over in your redzone?
Excellent play by Clowney, who had, been neutralized for the entire game up to that point.

I'll be shocked if there's not a news conference in Knoxville tomorrow.

This team has clearly given up on Dooley. This is embarrassing at this point. I will admit that it's pretty clear he needs to be gone at this point.

Official announcement in the morning. Still stand by the new coach stuff I posted a few weeks ago.

Yeah, well at that point I thought UT was slowly showing signs of life and improvement. I guess I just felt like no matter who inherited Kiffin's mess was in an impossible situation and up to that point I thought CDD was getting all he could. But I understand them letting him go. There wasn't enough there to give anyone belief that CDD capable of heading that program over the long haul. I really feel like UT has the players in place to be a very competitive team next year. With the right hire that energizes the program and fan base, UT could be very dangerous. I don't think CDD is a terrible coach, I just think the job was too big for him. I see UT very similar to Bama in terms of being the head coach. It takes a certain personality to run the ship and he wasn't it.

Re: 2012 Tennessee Vols

What the hell happened to Tennessee as a program?

It seems like they've just fallen off slowly since their national championship year.
