Meyer recruited Driskell, but he was call #1 when Muschamp took over. Brissett was all Muschamp's staff if I'm not mistaken. You don't come out of HS as the #1 and #2 prospects in the country if you can only run a spread.

I've actually really been looking forward to the UF v UT game all off-season. After what I saw out of UF in week 1 I'm afraid I might already know the outcome.

By embarrassed I mean this. When I was watching the BGSU game last weekend, I was embarrassed to be a UF fan. The level of talent on the field vs the way the team as a whole played was down right painful to watch. In a way I think we're fortunate A&M didn't have the opportunity to get the first game jitters out with Sumlin now at the helm. Luckily for us, they are replacing a lot of pieces on offense and installing a new system so we'll see how it goes. All that said, it's entirely possible we walk into Aggie Field for their first SEC game and we may lay an egg and look like garbage doing it.

Florida looked like crap in their opener last year while Tennessee looked like world beaters against Cincy last year. We all know how last years game worked out, so.............I still think it will be a great game and could go either way.

While I don't disagree with your assessment, I think UF reached a whole new level of crap this year. I'll wait to reserve any final judgement until after this weekend, but either way I look forward to the game every year.

I don't dislike Florida like I do LSU and Bama, but I love A&M.
