Watched the Amazon series All or Nothing about Michigan's 2017 season. It was pretty brutal as far as living through some of those rivalry games again. I had forgotten just how close the final Hail Mary attempt actually came to salvaging the MSU game.

On the other hand, I couldn't really think of anything more humanizing for the team. Say what you want about how Wilton and JOK came off poorly, but I was really struck by how decent and likable these young men were. Higdon and his daughter (as well as Higdon on the field), Newsome and Larry Prout Jr., Rashan Gary and his mom, Winovich etc and Chad Tough, Devin Bush Jr. and his quiet leadership. Just a bunch of really likable guys that get along really nicely and it makes me proud to root for them, win lose or draw.

One thing I was struck by was Harbaugh's motivational style. I'm not sure if I was whelmed or underwhelmed by him, but he seemed different than whatever my notion of him was. Maybe less of a mad, QB-developing, fire-breathing genius and more of an earnest pragmatist who happens to like football a lot.

Oh, but it solidified my skepticism for Josh Metellus. I mean it's one thing to get beat for a bunch of big plays and then drop an easy pick in The Game. But, walking into a glass window?...falling asleep in team meetings?...bruh. Wouldn't mind someone beating him out in the starting lineup. Or maybe we can get Jabrill back somehow?

Anyone else see the new MGoBlog website? I hope this is a joke. I had 5 or 6 seizures just looking at the page for a few minutes. Not really, but it looks really objectionable, busy, and terrible. And also terrible.

Can Michigan ever get another Doak Walker award?
Chris Perry was the last Doak Walker winner from Michigan and he Beat Ohio State.
Hope that sends a message to people who no longer have 100 yard per game running backs!
And people who always had three running backs that could go for 100 yards no matter who started!
