    Re: Week 2 Discussion

I expected NCST to be better with McCall, but through 2 weeks he's not looked good at all. Gonna be interesting to see if things eventually click there or not this season.

Special teams keeping Oregon in this. An 85-yard punt return for a TD and now a 100-yard kick return for a TD.

That looked like he dropped it before he crossed. Thought for sure replay would overturn it.

Edit: Was ruled he dropped it, but a teammate grabbed the ball in the end zone.

Newsflash to Oregon: stop that Jeanty kid, he's good.

Big Ten after dark just doesnโ€™t have the same ring to it as Pac-12 after dark.

Well, Florida won their one game for the season yesterdayโ€ฆI donโ€™t expect them to win another.

                      Re: Week 2 Discussion

I had zero idea what to expect from Oregon State and I still don't really. San Diego State's offense is awful, so shutting them out might not mean anything. They had WR's open a few times and the true FR QB missed them. The secondary didn't have as many people running wide open as Idaho State did, but it's still going to be a huge problem against Oregon and Purdue the next two weeks. The defensive line didn't get much push in either game, but they defended the run well enough. Oregon's speed is of course going to destroy us. We don't have much threat at WR, and the OL won't be able to push around anyone on Oregon like they did these two teams. We might be lucky to score 10 on Oregon. Still, I did see some improvement from a week ago. Maybe it won't go as horribly as I think. Oregon's got some problems so far too it seems.

I'm guessing that you're referring to this.

The first paragraph of the article pretty much sums it up.

This is a pretty great embodiment of where Colorado is as a football program right now. Sure, you're despised by pretty much the entire country. And yeah, you might not be winning many games despite insisting on being the center of attention. But at least when your quarterback does manage to put points on the board at home, you can ditch your fight song that's been around for 100 years and listen to his latest single, instead.

                          Or this?

I'll be happy when this clown show is over after this year.

Shedeur Sanders' leadership skills are about as strong as Shilo's right forearm is right now.
