I didn't make myself clear. I meant the perception of the team, not the team itself. I'm sure anyone who's talented enough to make it onto USC's roster didn't get there by surfing all day long.

However I don't think USC suffers from a "lack of respect". Sure, Miles can talk... but at the end of the day ESPN will still be predicting USC to win every game by 40 points.

Les Miles is ********. I love how he looks lost on the sidelines half the time.

SEC could be better, but it is not that much better and when you factor in USC OOC schedule, it is basically a non issue.
