Official Big East Thread

Well, here are my predictions for the Big East this season... (Later I can look back and see how wrong I was, LOL)

1. West Virginia 11-1 (6-1)
2. Cincinnati 10-3 (5-2)
3. South Florida 9-3 (4-3)
4. Rutgers 9-3 (4-3)
5. Pittsburgh 8-4 (3-4)
6. Louisville 8-4 (3-4)
7. Connecticut 6-6 (2-5)
8. Syracuse 3-9 (1-6)

There we go. The Big East always seems to have some wild cards, though, like Rutgers in 2006 and UConn last year. UConn could do much better than I predicted. They have a lot of starters back, but they had a lot of luck on their side last year (they were outgained in every Big East game except for Syracuse). Then again, with their starters back, they could easily finish in the top three or four.

WVU could plummet, as well, like Louisville did last year. There are as many as seven teams that could possibly win the conference IMO, so it's really hard to make an accurate prediction!

6-8. Teams that suck

I think syracuse has a excellent chance of completing the impossible dream of not winning a single game, Only Northeastern has a chance of ruining it.

BTW I have Renounced my Fanship for Syracuse, I am Boycotting them until Coach Robinson is fired. Honestly, for a Major Program for fall this far, it HAS to be the Coach. Coach Robinson is the Fastest coach in SU history to reach 30 losses. The University needs to save Face and fire hiss A** or at least forfeit the rest of the games.

I don't see anyone on their schedule that can stop them. They are the best team in the Big East and should be favored in every game.

That said, they could very well screw up somewhere along the way.

Robinson needs to be fired NOW. There is no reason to keep him; they can't do any worse. They should get a new coach in there and let him get this season to get his system installed so they are ready next season.

My Sports life is so F'ing Depressing right now. Diehard SU Fan- They Suck, Diehard Buffalo Fan- They dont suck but they are not really contenders, yankee Fan- They suck.

Syracuse Winning the Basketball title in 03 was nice but the sports god must have realized it shouldn't have happened so we are getting punished right now.

Don't feel too bad. I'm a Blue Jays fan- They haven't been relevant since '93, Bills fan- Well at least they're on the rise, ND is my main college team and well let's just say that the program is at its lowest ebb ever.

Don't get me started on the Maple Leafs!
