UF over USC was hard to call, but any year i'd rather play USC than UF

Texas and OU both have titles, so it was a hard choice but the inability to win where it counts hurted tOSU
I don't understand how anyone can put Texas ahead of OU.

Over the past decade OU is 6-4 against Texas with 6 conference championships. Texas has ONE! OU has produced two Heisman winners and Texas has produced none.

Of Course Texas is going to have a slightly better bowl record. Texas is playing weaker opponents in their bowl games because OU is playing conference winners. Three of the teams OU has lost to have ended up being national champions. Meanwhile Texas is beating up on Iowa and winning Holiday bowls.

Edit- On topic:

1.A UF
1.B USC
1.C LSU
OU
OSU

I think any of the co number ones could lift themselves above the rest if they win it all this year.

You're taking Ohio State over LSU and Florida when LSU and Florida have both creamed Ohio State in the title game. All the while LSU and Florida have more titles over the decade while playing in the SEC. LMAO.
As you said before it's not just one season. LSU beat them in 1 year. Florida beat them in 1 year. Ohio State has had just as impressive decade as LSU. As mentioned before OSU has the second most BCS bowl wins. They beat maybe the best team of the decade not win the title in Miami (Fl) in 2002 title game. Over the whole decade I would go with this...
1. USC
2a. Ohio State
2b. LSU
4. Florida
5. Oklahoma

Texas is 3-0 in BCS bowls. Only USC, Ohio State (4), Florida (4), and LSU (4) have more BCS bowl wins

0U has 2 BCS bowl wins

One thing not mentioned before is that OSU doesn't have the second most BCS bowl wins.

USC has 6
LSU has 4
OSU, Florida, Texas, and Miami have 3

USC, LSU, and Florida are clearly above hOSU by virtue of their national championships and lack of embarrassing losses. Texas has the same number of BCS wins, the same number of championships, and lack of embarrassing games outside of their games against the chokies, so I'd put them above hOSU as well.

Re: Top programs of the past decade

I figured for decade, we were talking about the 2000s.
