so, are you not allowed to have a favorite college football team until you're 18-19 years old? so people who aren't college age or older can't have a favorite football team?

I didn't get to go to Tech, but that was due to me not having my head on straight in high school and not doing homework. I hope to go for postgrad work there, however.

But I've lived in Blacksburg all my life, cheering on the Hokies (except for Grant Noel, Sean Glennon, and Bryan Stinespring) almost all of those years, and I work for a company that used to be part of VT. So I feel good enough to root for them. In fact, no one in my family has gone to Tech.

Yup. Chose Mizzou over Texas because Mizzou has the best journalism school in the world.

I grew up in Waco and still live there, I've always rooted for Baylor, but I never went to school there. At least no one can say I was a bandwagon fan with Baylor, they haven't won in years.

I went to OU but think it's ******* stupid that someone who didn't is somehow less of a fan than I am. Unless I missed it I never saw them offer a "Real Fan" class.
