This is the correct answer. Richt and Brown are 6 and 7, but they're way behind the rest.

Somewhat suprised that Gary Patterson and his 73-27 mark didn't make it, but man, those are some good coaches on that list also. I like the Paul Johnson pick. I'd like to see more out of Brian Kelly before he makes a list like this, though. 41-22 in D1A this decade probably not enough to cut in my book.

Mack Brown ahead of Pete Carroll and Nick Saban?

How is Mack Brown rated above Stoops? Here is the head to head comparison over the past decade.

-Stoops has 6 wins against Texas. Brown has 4 wins against OU.
-Stoops has 6 conference championships. Brown has 2 conference championships.
-Stoops has one national title. Brown has one national title.

Mack Brown isn't better in any of those categories and both have one national title. Aren't six Big 12 titles better than two? Isn't 6-4 better than 4-6?

I would rank it like this.

1. Carroll
2. Saban
3. Meyer
4. Stoops
5. Brown

Tressell could probably be thrown in the mix with Stoops and Brown as well.
