Idk maybe it's the LSU fan in me, but I love what Jimbo is doing. Building a stud Defense, the offense will develop over time especially the O-line.

cant argue with the defense especially the D-line but the offense has ways to go if they wanna contend for the NC......only good thing about starting 4 freshmen on the line is the experience gained for this upcoming year.....also, the running game has to come around big-time

FYP, just sayin. Dont get me wrong, UT is nowhere close to winning the SEC East, but FSU must first get back to dominating the ACC before they can dream about being in the NC picture. JMO

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

Well, looks like the SEC classes will finish ranked like this..

1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. Georgia
4. LSU
5. Texas A&M
6. South Carolina
7. Auburn
8. Tennessee
9. MSU
10. Arkansas
11. Missouri
12. Ole Miss
13. Vandy
14. Kentucky

3 top 10 classes in the conference. Seems about right.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

FSU has had good classes in the past, but much of those guys were overrated and they relied on the star rankings way to much. They weren't actually scouting like they should be.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

It comes down to coaching a lot of times and like mentioned scouting, a 5* may get you into that university but it's up to both parties to actually build on that potential.

Some of the Heisman finalists, RG3, Andrew Luck, Mathieu were all 3* I believe. Gotta have the coaching once these guys get on campus.

Cyler Miles sticks with Washington. I can step away from the ledge now.
