I'm puzzled on this one. For one he was told a week ago that he wouldn't be offered, and for two there are several guys still out there that are plain better than him. Can't wait for Jim Bollman's *** to be gone, hopefully then we can get a real OL coach.

Edit: According to Bill Greene, he hasn't committed yet, but will do so in person tomorrow. There's a decent possibility this is a DT offer.

Ohio St "Fans" Crack me up

why doesnt/Didnt Tressell/Fickell get more then half the blame for OL and just give 100% to Bollman? the HC has more power to offer players and i can GUARENTEE a HC will not allow a position coach to offer a player that the HC doesnt think is good enough to play at the school and waste that 'ship insted of using it on a diffrent player he wants, and why not also blame Tressell for not giving offers to OL we missed out on that was Bollmans fault as well supposedley?

from what ive read on a few insider boards at Rivals and Scout, ill be shocked if Dodson doesnt end up signing with Ohio St on NSD

he's already looking around and taking an unoffical to Ohio St to meet with Fickell this comming weekend

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

Some other Buckeye recruiting news

-Jordan Diamond is looking into Ohio St more and more since Kalis went to scUM, wont decide untill january

-Nick Davidson, son of Jim Davidson, Supposedly has an offer but isnt 100% confirmed

-Prep school WR Mike Thomas from CA is a STRONG Buckeye Lean, Dwyane Stanford type body WR but faster and better hands

-2013 RB Derrick Green (top 3 RB in the nation) is a very strong Buckeye Lean, as is Jalin Marshal, Cameron Burrows and Caleb Day, Billy Price, Ross Douglass, Eli Woodard, Taco Charlton, Lovell Petterson, Jaylon Smith (all top 10 at their positions) the Ohio St 2013 Class could potentially be better then the UF class with Powell and Floyd

-Adolphus Washington named a top 5 without Ohio St but ever since Fickell put Vrabel on him to recruit him Washington seems to be getting very high on Ohio St again, Michigan seems to be fading out of the picture

-Kyle Dodson is back in the picture for Ohio St if the sanctions arent too bad and if they want him after verbaling to Wisky the day they offered

-Ifeadi Odenigbo named a top 5 of Ohio St, ND, Cal, Stanford and Northwestern, i see him at Stanford or Cal if not Ohio St

-Dwayne Stanford is annoucing late october, Buckeyes are not in good shape at the moment IMO

-Buckeyes are closing in on offering Dion Dawson if he gets a few test scores up

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

Also take a look at RB-DT Dion Dawson

recent measurements from a toledo camp in the summer

6'1
308
4.76 40
Squat-1240

kid plays D1 in Ohio which is tops in Ohio, and Ohio is one of the top football states in country so its not like he's playing some weak scrubs every week

kid looks like Jerome Bettis at RB

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

4* WR Drae Bowles commits to UT. Vols look to have a very impressive WR corps for the next few years.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

Possibly the top overall prospect in the class of 2013, Rueben Foster, commits to Alabama. This is MASSIVE. Best LB in the class of 2013 and a strong contender for the #1 overall ranking.

Hey I can't help that Alabama & Tennessee both get big commits on the same day lol.

Glad to see it though. I want Tennessee back to being a top 10 program.
