I don't think so. I think he is more of a pro style QB. I think he end up at a school that has more of that type of offense than a spread. Unless the kid can run, because Kelly can only use about half of his playbook with a QB like he has now in Tommy Rees who can't run.

Don't get me wrong, Kelly would take him in a heartbeat, but unless he wants to run with the ball, I don't see it being an ideal fit.

Kelly can adjust his offense to suit his personnel (I.E. Tony Pike and Ben Mauk).

He can if he has too, but he'd certainly rather have personnel that can use his entire playbook and that would ideally include a very mobile qb.

Kiel cooled on ND in the first place because he started questioning how he'd fit into Kelly's offense. He wants to play in a pro-style system.

I'd gladly pass on a 6th OL in exchange for Kiel, but with Shane Morris on board for 2013, I doubt Michigan becomes a player here.
