Michigan has grabbed plenty of Ohio State kids since ive been watching college football. It may have been a slight decrease of the number of players during Michigan's rough years with RR, but it's nothing new to me.

There was no "slight" decrease, there was almost no head-to-head recruiting wins for Michigan against OSU in Ohio during the latter years of Carr and all three years of Rodriguez. There was Boren in 06 (ha), Koger in 08, Turner in 09 (HA), and....what? Before that I think you have to go back to 2003 with Shawn Crable and Prescott Burgess. Hoke has three in this class alone (and I would contend that Joe Bolden and Jarrod Wilson are OSU-caliber players too, despite OSU not offering them).

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

Michigan grabbed Roy Roundtree and Michael Shaw in the same class as Koger i think. Granted we didn't offer those 2, but they turned out to be pretty decent players. Especially Roundtree.

I like to judge players on how they play on the field and don't take the star ratings too seriously. Michigan has fully took advantage of a down year of recruiting by OSU, which they're supposed too. Star ratings wise. Now lets see how they do on the field.

Senior Michael Shaw has been beaten out for the starting running back position by a sophomore and Roundtree has been a non-factor this year.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

Makes sense. The school he's committed to and the school he may switch to will both be there.
