Alright, I'm going to play devils advocate real quick.

Let's say Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma, Auburn beats Alabama, and USC beats Oregon.

I know, all these upsets are very unlikely, but would Oklahoma State still have a case to be in the title game?

I'm not familiar with the Big Ten but let's say we only get a 2 loss team there too. Does a 2 loss team hold NC game rights over an undefeated Houston who blows everyone out?

Okie Lite would have only one loss. I would think they get in over Houston.

I think that depends on how much they fall this week, but its possible. I was hoping they would go undefeated.

You would also have to have both Clemson and vt to lose again for Houston to have a chance

Yeah, Houston has virtually no chance of making the NC. For one thing, they haven't played anybody. They've got a decent shot of earning an at-large BCS bid though assuming they win their last 2 games and the C-USA championship game.

I would like to see Houston win out and earn a at-large BCS bid, but that is the best their gonna get.

They get an automatic bid if they win thier conference and finish 12th or better in the BCS. I'd say that's a lock if they go undefeated.

This. Everyone is saying "Looks like Houston is going to the BCS" even though they still have 2 games left. Not trying to be a homer, but Houston has played a very weak schedule (3 teams with a winning record including Tulsa) while Tulsa has played a very tough schedule (at OU, vs Okie St, at Boise) and would almost definitely be undefeated with Houston's schedule. You could even play the "What If?" game and say that had Damaris Johnson not been an idiot and got arrested, and had GJ Kinne not gotten injured in the 1st quarter of the game against Okie St, then Tulsa could very well have beaten Boise and made a close game with Okie St like Kansas St did. This is the best team Houston has and will face, save for a BCS bowl if they win.

I agree, they are taking advantage of a schedule so weak a Big East team could go undefeated. I personally hope Houston loses just because I think TCU or Boise would have a better chance of winning a bowl game. Although I'd rather have Houston over any Big Weak-er Big East team.

Agreed, this will be UH's sternest test of the season.
