AD oversees the entire athletic department. Is responsible for booster relations and fundraising.

GM and equivalent roles in CFB are doing roster management. They are analyzing the roster, mapping out development plans for players, leading the recruiting board setup to prioritize what they see as the biggest needs, etc.

Unless UNC is doing it different than anyone else, the GM of the program is there to help with getting the roster in the bests position possible and doesn't really do any of the political stuff like managing the boosters. He will lead scouting meetings, make the final call on who does and doesn't get offers, say who the priority targets are, etc. The AD should be doing nothing of that sorts in a typical setting.

Michael Vick to coach Norfolk State?

Is it too much to ask he someday coaches for Mississippi State against Georgia?

Perhaps in a neutral site game at Pitbull Stadium?

Looks like they might have changed the eligibility rules for JUCO. JUCOs can play up to 2 years in JUCO, and still have 4 years of NCAA eligibility. We'll definitely see more 6-8 year athletes. I wouldn't be surprised if some coaches opt for some JUCO guys over HS if they have all 4 years of eligibility and some experience already

The judgement states that JUCO is not part of the NCAA, so playing 2 years in the NJCAA should not count against NCAA eligibility. The NCAA could change their wording to prevent it like the NFL does stating that players must be out of high school for 3 years before they are eligible to join the NFL. The NCAA could change their wording that eligibility is for 5 or 6 years out of high school or the player needs to request a waiver.

I mentioned 6 years because another thing the NCAA is considering is 5 years of eligibility for all athletes. If they approve that and don't appeal the court case or change their eligibility wording, a player could go to JUCO for 2 years and then play 5 seasons in college over 6 years with a redshirt. 8 years of college ball? College football would truly be a minor league of the pro football leagues. Any player who is serious about his education could leave college with a doctorate while getting a full ride and hundreds of thousands if not millions of NIL money.

The one funny thing about Pavia suing NCAA and winning, it seems like either the NCAA legal team is terrible or they just fold quickly and give in lol. Over the past decade or so, it just seems they are constantly losing every case.

Re: College Football Off Topic

Former #1 recruit Malachi Nelson is visiting UTEP today.

What a fall from grace. From Lincoln Riley's chosen one to backup in Boise to El Paso.
