Well Basketball it is a true rivalry since each year you have no clue who will win. Football was motivated by politics with the West Virginia Government. They were the ones who set (forced) the two schools to play in Football. We have never beaten WVU in the Friends of Coal Bowl.

Our real rivals are Ohio U, UCF, Miami University and ECU. But ECU is the friendlier of them all, we treat the MU ECU series as a game between two friends. When ECU did not make the Big East during the current CUSA raid many MU fans were upset that they were not chosen.

Bleh FSU's 1st 2 games are at 6, works out some what I guess tho as i'll probably leave early in the 1st game and then just skip the 2nd for the Washington/LSU game
