I disagree. My view is to think this is all over would be naive given what a huge story it has been, the details that have emerged about Urban Meyer's stewardship of the OSU football program, and how the OSU-sanctioned report found he did a bunch of shady stuff but "didn't mean to" so it's ok.

Maybe some people remember Jim Tressel getting suspended for 2 games in 2011, being vouched for by then-president Gordon Gee, only to resign 3 months later.

I think the likelihood of further information trickling out in the present situation is also quite high. The media is certainly not going to lose interest and will keep digging.

I'd say the QBs combining for 15 of 43 passing gives their worries a little credence.

It's, over, man. It's on to the next CFB scandal/infraction/selfsnitch story at this point. Meyer has no reason to leave and the institute (I'm pretty sure feels) they have no reason to get rid of him.

I don't disagree with any of that and never had.

You're much smarter than me so I will defer to your knowledge but the only point I made with my last point was that the use of the word quaint was unfair and inaccurate. That's it.

If I'm wrong about how the word is used, I'm good with you saying so, but that was my only point. I'm not disagreeing with your overall point.

The ironic thing is I was going to correct you on elude vs allude in your original response to me and decided not to. Then you "go after me" for my usage of quaint. lol

First world problems I guess.

And, please let the actual games start soon...

I guess we're tied for mistakes then.

Re: College Football Off Topic

Let's redirect some outrage.

The NCAA has officially recognized UCF as a 2017 national champion, listing them in the 2018 Records Book.
