He didn’t play but Trey Smith was in uniform at the Orange and White game today. That would be huge if he can overcome the blood clots that have derailed his career.

Day won’t publicly end the QB battle until fall but it’s been over since the day Fields stepped on campus. There’s a reason Fields has gotten the vast vast majority of the reps with the ones this spring.

He looked electric running the ball, was hampered by the two hand touch design of the scrimmage. Made some nice throws as well and showed off a nice arm. Showed a boat load of potential.

I thought he went like 4 of 11 passing or something like that?

I read he was 4-13, but he did have a few nice long throws including a 98 yard TD or something like that.

Former Vol RB Reggie Cobb died of a heart attack. Only 50. One of my first memories of Vols football was him and Chuck Webb. RIP, Reggie.

Miami had their spring game today. Martell looked like a completely different player when the lights were on. Led the 2nd string offense down the field 3 times against the 1st string defense. 2 TD's and the other drive made it to the 9 and they went the FG route.

Wow...shocking. I can't believe he was 50; I would have guessed late 30's/early 40's as it feels like he was just playing. RIP...
