Re: College Football Off Topic

He'll probably go 1st round still, the NFL loves overvaluing QB's. I'm not sure if he will ever live up to his hype, but that's another conversation.

If I was a betting man, I'd say Tua lives up to his hype more/before Burrow does.

It's a good thing you aren't a betting man.

Devonta Smith and Landon Dickerson joining the Juniors returning to Bama. Henry Ruggs declaring. Najee Harris the last one to decide.

Yeah he didn't play well enough in the few games where the other team was able to get pressure on him. He won't have the best OL and WRs running wide open in the NFL. It's one of the problems judging top QBs, you can't tell if they have the head to make smart, quick decisions when they hardly ever face pressure and if they do, they have open WRs. He has the physical skills, but will need the mental side to reach his potential and that is hard to judge.

Dickerson made the smart decision as he needs to prove he can stay healthy and get more experience at OG. He could be a top pick next year. Wish he stayed at FSU, but the injuries and mess caused him to leave.

Given that Burrow will likely end up a Bengal and Tua will fall to mid/late 1st round, I could see that. So many of these young players success is tied to the environment they end up in, especially a QB.

I have no scouting analysis to back my thought up, I've just never felt comfortable with a QB that only shines for one season...... granted he's balling outta his mind.
