The new FSU jersey's are way better then the old, although that may just be unpopular in the state.

Agreed about recruiting, but, at least on the defensive side, Saban is one of the best there is when it comes to Xs and Os and teaching players.

*Helmet to helmet hits should be a penalty subject to ejection. However, I think it needs to be looked at much closer before a kid is tossed from a game. This hit got Stephon Tuitt ejected. He got booed the entire time he trotted of the field and into the tunnel. Closer look clearly shows that when Tuitt lowers his head he was not targeting. Tom Savage lowered his head also, and is just as guilty. Simply an accident.

*I feel kind of sorry for the kids who play on the FCS teams who get spanked by the FBS school just so their school can get a fat paycheck. Upsets are nice, but for most of these FCS players they just get a black eye.

I'm not sure what your experience with FCS-level players are, if any, but I assure you they don't take much issue with it. It's just another week preparation wise, and most love getting a chance to play in the bigger stadiums.

At least that's what the players were like at SELU

Savannah State has gotten absolutely walloped by FBS teams in recent years. People saying the coach is terrible for subjecting them to that just for a payday.

What did the players think? When they went to play Oklahoma State, that was the first and only time they had a chartered flight to a game. Most said that was one of the best experiences they had. They got beat 84-0.
