Auburn fires DC Ellis Johnson.

Love the decisiveness Gus.

Will Muschamp...you have a call on line 1 sir.

I don't even know if the administration cares enough to fire Golden yet. Shalala(the president) was quoted Saturday in saying this was really Golden's first year because of the "cloud". Miami's administration has destroyed the football program. They lucked into getting Larranaga too on the basketball side.

Hopefully I am wrong, but right now it looks like the BOT and administration couldn't care less about sports.

Muschamp to Auburn would not be good for Florida. If Muschamp takes the AU job, I can't imagine T-Rob wouldn't follow him there. I was hoping Muschamp would go to A&M or something, losing T-Rob would hurt. He's hands down the best DB coach in the country and an excellent recruiter. Auburn could be down right disgusting for a couple years if they get Champ & T-Rob.

I'm seeing Al Golden as one of the top candidates for Nebraska right now. Eichorst hired him at Miami. I would be shocked, but not mad at all. Please do it Nebraska.

I might be wrong. Eichorst maybe just gave him his extension.

Golden always seemed like an odd fit at Miami. He is a guy who gets the most out of his players rather than recruiting the best.

I think it would work for both teams if Golden went to Nebraska.

I don't know where you get the idea he gets the most out of his players, but he couldn't be any worse at Miami if he tried. Guy has a B1G mentality though. Might be a better fit at Nebraska.

It's looking more and more like this is going to happen. If so, T-Rob is just about a guarantee to come home to Auburn with Will.

Our recruiting..which is already really good..would be sick as offensive players want to play in Gus's offense and defensive players flock to Muschamp and T-Rob.

What happened in the hour and a half between posts that makes it look more and more like it's gonna happen?
