I would love it though if he did come. Oh and bring T-Rob with him. Get rid of Kelly and Miller, add those 2, dream scenario.

He is paid $6 million no matter what. UF cannot not pay him that money. They could require him to still be there, but they won't do that. What usually happens is they say whatever money you make in new job, they make up the difference up to the contract amount.

i dont think it's going to be a name we're not hearing yet. I think it's gonna be either RichRod or Gundy, and I'm leaning more towards Gundy.

A coach who was just the HC at Florida for four seasons, taking a Grad. Assistant job for no extra pay? Kudos to you, sir, because that may be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. No way he wouldn't take the opportunity to rake in some extra bucks.

It all depends on the wording in the contract under the buyout and/or termination clauses.

There isn't a reasonable scenario at all where this is remotely close to being a possibility.

Re: 2014-2015 Coaching Carousel Thread

If Florida is smart, they'd hire Ron Roberts. 71-28 record as a head coach and turned perennial FCS joke Southeastern into a Top 10 program in just 3 years flat. I can see why a program as high and mighty as Florida would think themselves as better than hiring FCS coaches, but if they don't, somebody will and that school will reap the benefits.

wow. much tapatalk. very mobil.
